I'm using the following command line in a shortcut instead of a separate batch file:
%SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe /C set MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 & start "Firefox" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"In the "Shortcut" tab of the shortcut properties I also set the window to start "Reduced", so the Cmd.exe window is hidden.
