Thoughtbox - So what did you think?

The default access denied page is not user friendly and uninfomative to site visitors. A Custom 403 page will increase site usability and make your visitor feel more at home.

Answer 1:

First go to the 'create content' area and make a page. Write the message and instructions you would like to show. Be sure to disable comments as vistors should not be able to comment on an instructional page like this one. Note the page URL after the ?q= or incases of clean URLs find the part of the URL that begins with 'node' for example: 'node/100'.

Go to the administer -> settings area and find the 'custom 403' part of the setting form. Enter the URL, example: 'node/100', to this text box and press save.

Answer 1:

You may also choose to change the hardcoded message.
