I'm not sure where to post the question. This was my best guess.

I can't get smilies to appear. All I get in the message view is:

smiley

Suggestions?

sorry ... it looks like half of my msg was not included. Anyway, all I get is the html
img src="path/xx.gif" ..etc

You should check the directory images to make sure it is readable. Use FTP to chmod it to 644 or as high as 777.
