Is There is a Place for Classic ASP on the Web?logged in as - Anonymous Classic ASP is still supported in IIS7, the web server for Micorsoft Windows Vista. ![]() ASP is still one of the easiest to learn languages and very useful. If you take a look at a the Microsoft life-cycle policy you will see that ASP will be alive for 5-7 years more. Probably longer if Vista and IIS7 go longer. So don't listen to those that say you have to go with ASP.NET. ASP is the best choice for building web applications fast and without the need for extra software and IDE's.
