How do you upgrade MySQL on Xampp?logged in as - Anonymous We are trying to copy our web hosting environment and have had terrible luck. We are using Fedora 6 and need to compile and run PHP 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.0.20. This proved to be too much for us as Fedora packages either conflict with the older dependancies or Apache. We finally got going by using an older version of XAMPP. XAMPP has the right PHP version but it is still running MySQL 4.0.17. Has anyone updated just one part of a XAMPP package? We are setting up multiple Drupal websites and using some new modules and really want the dev environment to be exactly like the production environment. Site categories: Servers and Desktops  Linux |
