My name is Carl McDade and I am a web developer and have expertise in programming, teaching, sales and repair of computer systems. I am certified in many areas including Microsoft SQL Server 2000. I specialize in writing software for the internet using scripting languages such as PHP, ASP, XML, HTML, Perl and JavaScript. My experience extends also to database systems such as MySQL and Microsoft Access. I do most of my work using text editors and I am proficient in the use of IDE programs like Zend Studio and Active State Komodo.

I am also a skilled webdesigner and frequently use CSS with a minimum of other technologies like Flash and Photoshop imagery to produce fast loading and eye pleasing websites using Dreamweaver MX, Edit Plus and Homesite. As matter of fact I have written helper scripts for these editors and shared them with their repective communities.

In the last year I have spent most of my development time modifying and creating modules for Drupal and Mambo content management systems in PHP. I have also created my own CMS, KwikiWeb which is based on a flat file database system called textdb API. In the last 2 years I have spent a good amount of time contributing to the documentation and development efforts of many other opensource php projects.
