I am a bit relunctant to call the new CMS Matrix anything but alpha at the moment. I was ready to advance it to beta a day ago but then I decided to add in another feature, search, which is making it a better project. So I will take some time with the code. Also Nathan is having a slow time with reading and sorting out all the feature comparisons and categories. This taxonomy is crucial to everything being useful. But given all this the sevice can be surfed and has one or two web publishing systems in it for testing.

If you have any requests then drop an email to us while we are still trying to get things geled. At this time one thing we have agreed uponand that is that commercial web publishing sytems will be left out for now. When everything is completed a survey form will be sent to those commercial cms makers that are interested. This is so we can control the amounts of non-information and spam that an open system might bring.

I hope that this will push opensource framework and web publishing projects to making better websites and delivering good information right up front. Because we will not be accepting information that is not publically available. This means for example if your projects CMS does "content staging" and you do not have this anywhere in you features list or user documentation then it will not be added as a feature in the CMS's matrix list.

Well enough for now time to get back to other work and some coding.
