Requirements

Meeting the requirements for installation at Dreamhost is fairly straight forward and can be accomplished by most anyone familiar with FTP and other basics.

  • a local installation of PEAR DB and PEAR Text_Wiki
  • set the include path for class.inc to point to the local PEAR libraries
  • set the include path for install.php to point to the local PEAR libraries

Download go-pear.php and install PEAR into a non-web accessible directory.

Download the latest PEAR DB and Text_Wiki and FTP upload them to the pear directory.

Create a new database if necessary.

Set up a domain via the Dreamhost control panel
Unzip and FTP upload the AWF files.

Change inc/class.inc to by adding this code to the top

Change admin/install.php

Surf to admin/install.php and follow the instructions.
