Description

This is a pre-patched taxonomy module for use with the i18n module and Taxonomy Access Control. It can be difficult to use These modules together because they both require extensive changes to the default taxonomy.module. this file is meant to take the place of the pre-patched i18n taxonomy module and the need to try and patch it with the taxonomy access module patch. This saves time and helps those that are not aquainted with Unix patch.

i18n module is needed for those who want to have a multilanguage site that switches content and menus based on the language chosen.

Taxonomy Access Control is a necessity for hose wanting to set "Public" and "Private" forums on their website. The Drupal forum categories are controlled and set using the taxonomy module. So using this module you can set permisions on containers and sub forums.

I went ahead and added freetagging and some other usability goodness into this module. the addition of these features do not really have any overhead and only requires a small table adjustment,css and javascript. Besure to run the freetagging.sql.

This module and patches to will be the heart of [Typical Text] Multilingual CMS

There doesn't seem to be a freetagging.sql in the zip. Any chance this could be added? Thanks,

But here is the SQL to run.

# Add freetagging to vocabulary
ALTER TABLE `vocabulary`
ADD `tags` tinyint( 3 ) unsigned default '0' NOT NULL;

Let me know how it goes with the CSS. In some themes it works but others ignore it. I have to think of a better way than using drupal_html_head().
