After reading that Joomla CMS 1.1 has been renamed to Joomla CMS 1.5 because to all the changes made I was pleased. Not every project has the guts to do this. The beta is supposed to be released later on this month so I got very excited. My excitement turned to disappointment when I tried to get a demo site up here at Dreamhost. After going through the install routine I clicked on the admin button and tried to log in. Nothing but a big error showed.

Well, Joomla gets some points for changing the version number to suit the amount of development. The new default theme is also very nice and fresh looking. But until I can get a nightly release that works more completely I can't say more.
