Someone posted a comment about this and it's true. Four more of Mambo's core developers have jumped ship and started a new fork of the content management system. Mambo CMS has always intrigued me because it is just so easy to install and operate. But I have not yet done anything more than do a few installs and templates. I left the hard work of developing Mambo components up to those that knew how. Now suddenly my interest in Mambo was lost when I looked up components in the documentation.
